HONORING HEROES AND A COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY
A Capitals Community Hero could be your neighbor, your colleague, or your friend. A Capitals Community Hero demonstrates how a person with passion and determination can use their life to make a difference in the greater Sandy Springs/Atlanta community…and it is these unsung Heroes who deserve the recognition. We are excited to be looking to honor 12 inspirational individuals as Community Heroes at every Capitals regular season home weekend in the 2015-2016 season.
Capitals Community Heroes can only be selected after being nominated by someone like you, so we encourage you to please see below to learn more. If you would like to nominate someone or an organization please email info@atlantacapitals.com to see if they qualify.
ABOUT THE CAPITALS COMMUNITY HERO PROGRAM
Capitals owner Don Stone, along with his wife, Barbara, launched the Capitals Community Heroes program to bring knowledge and exposure to deserving Heroes and non-profits throughout the Sandy Springs/Atlanta community. At each Capitals home weekends, 12, the Capitals will honor and celebrate a local Hero or a non-profit charity of his or her choice. The Capitals community hero organizations or non-profit charities of that weekend will have a booth set-up available with literature and taking donations.
